Domperidone Maleate

SHORT DESCRIPTION
VOMIPER is used to treat symptoms of slowed stomach emptying and stomach inflammation. Domperidone is also used to prevent symptoms such as nausea and vomiting caused by some drugs used to treat Parkinson’s disease. This safety information is for patients taking domperidone for any condition.

INDICATION:
Nausea and vomiting
Adult: 10 mg tid. Max: 30 mg daily. Child: ≤12 yr <35 kg: 250 mcg/kg up to tid. Max: 750 mcg/kg daily; >12 yr ≥35 kg: Same as adult dose.
Gastrointestinal motility disorders
Adult: 10 mg tid. Max: 30 mg daily.
