Cefixime trihydrate

SHORT DESCRIPTION
INBACEF is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu).

INDICATION
Susceptible infections
Adult: 200-400 mg daily as a single or in 2 divided doses. Child: >6 mth <50 kg: 8 mg/kg daily as a single or in 2 divided doses.
