Paracetamol

SHORT DESCRIPTION
FIORAMOL is used for short-term treatment of moderate pain, following surgery; fever, when IV route is clinically justified by an urgent need to treat pain or hyperthermia and/or when other routes of administration are not possible

INDICATION
Adult & adolescent >50 kg 100 mL IV infusion for 15 min up to 4 times daily.
Max daily dose: 4 g
Adult & adolescent <50 kg & children >33 kg (approx 11 yr) 1.5 mL/kg up to 4 times daily.
Max daily dose: 60 mg/kg or 3 g. Doses should be given w/ at least 4-hr interval.
